Crete-Monee Middle School

Crete-Monee Middle School is a vibrant educational community catering to all 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students within the CM201U district. Upon enrollment, students are placed into grade-level teams, each with its own unique identity designed to foster personalized learning experiences. The curriculum encompasses Language and Literature, Mathematics, Science, Individuals and Societies, and Language Acquisition, complemented by specialized courses in music, art, theater, and technology. Additionally, our program includes physical education, health, community projects, and library media information services. Throughout our school, active, hands-on, inquiry-based learning prevails, with students collaborating both independently and in groups. The walls are adorned with displays showcasing student work, and interdisciplinary learning is emphasized through activities such as interactive notebook writing, science lab report development, and research on contemporary issues across various subjects.
